FULL PROGRAMME

Previous congresses

Since 2008, the Fertiberia Chair of Agro-Environmental Studies has organised an annual Congress on Fertilization for Sustainable Agriculture, which deals with topics of interest for professionals and students related to the agricultural world.

The Conference, which takes place at the UPM, is a benchmark in the sector and brings together a large number of professionals each year: representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and the Environment, from the Autonomous Communities, from agrarian associations, researchers, university professors and students linked to agriculture. This Congress is highly valued, both in terms of interest in the topics discussed and the technical and scientific quality of the speakers who have taken part.

Fertiberia Chair Awards

Prizes for the best final and master’s
degree projects and theses at the UPM

The main aim of the Fertiberia Chair of Agro-Environmental Studies prizes for the best final and master’s degree projects and theses is to recognise theses or projects of excellent quality that are produced at the Polytechnic University of Madrid in the field of fertilization and fertilizers, their influence on agricultural production and the quality of crops, and on the environment.

Two prizes will be awarded

One with a theme directly related to fertilizers, fertilization or its influence on plant production and a second on the relationship between agricultural systems and the environment.

In particular, work that proposes novel solutions or options that minimise the environmental impact implied by the use of fertilizers is valued, both from the point of view of fertilizer products and their application.
