NP 18-46 is very suitable when it is not necessary to supply potassium to the soil and for crops that are demanding in phosphorus.

  • Ammoniacal nitrogen facilitates the absorption of phosphorus.
  • The phosphorus is totally assimilable by the plants and 95% soluble in water, guaranteeing an excellent agronomic result.
  • It has a residual acidic effect on soils, although initially it has an alkaline reaction, making it very suitable for neutral or basic soils.

Technical specifications

  • Total nitrogen %N 18.0
  • Ammoniacal nitrogen %N 18.0
  • Phosphorus soluble in water and neutral ammonium citrate %P2O5 46.0
  • Phosphorus water-soluble %P2O5 45.0

Form of application

It is applied homogeneously on the surface of the soil and, if possible, dug in so that it gets near the roots to facilitate the absorption of the phosphorus.

Avoid contact with the seed, as damaging volatilisation of ammonia could occur, depending on the soil.

It is recommended that all NPK complex fertilizers are applied:

  • Shortly before sowing in the case of herbaceous crops.
  • At least one month before sprouting in the case of tree crops, or in other words, far enough in advance before the plant needs the nutrients that we supply.
  • Application during sowing.
  • Apply on neutral or basic soils rich in potassium.
