Special olive NPK formula 17-8-10 (25) with boron, iron and zinc from Fertiberia CLASSIC, more precise and more efficient than ever.

Its content in zinc lignosulphonate and carbolite, new additives developed in Fertiberia’s R+D laboratories, means that this innovative formula offers a perfect balance of nutrients adjusted to the specific needs of the olive grove.

Zinc lignosulphonate: Improves nitrogen efficiency, obtaining better results with fewer units, and is 5 to 10 times more effective than uncomplexed zinc.

Carbolite: It supplies iron in two forms, one that can be immediately assimilated and another more prolonged release that remains stable in the soil until it is required by the roots. The nutrients it contains are completely soluble and therefore easily assimilated.

In addition, its high level of sulphur acidifies the soil and improves the quality of the oil, and thanks to the supply of micronutrients the efficiency of nitrogen increases, favouring higher production and the balanced development of the olive grove.

 The advantages provided by fertilizers adapted to specific needs and crops, compared to other proposals, are:

The secondary elements and micronutrients are supplied to the soil when they are not present in it or when the crop is unable to assimilate them in their current state. They should be supplied in the basal dressing, since they must be available for the crop from sowing.

Micronutrients are necessary in small quantities, but are essential for the life of the plant.

Form of application

It is advisable to apply NPK complex fertilizers homogeneously on the surface of the soil and, if possible, dig them in so that they get near the roots. This facilitates the absorption of phosphorus and potassium, which are elements that are not very mobile.

In the case of tree crops, it can also be located between the rows.

It is recommended that all NPK complex fertilizers are applied:

  • Shortly before sowing in the case of herbaceous crops.
  • At least one month before sprouting in the case of tree crops, or in other words, far enough in advance before the plant needs the nutrients that we supply.
