ADP Fertilizantes.
Leaders in plant nutrition and high value-added products
ADP Fertilizantes has its origins in the late 19th century and in 2009 joined the Grupo Fertiberia family. Today, it has become one of the leading companies in the production and marketing of high value-added plant nutrition products not only in Portugal, where it has always been a market leader, but also throughout Europe, Africa, the Middle and Far East and Australia.

With a production capacity of more than 1.1 million tonnes in three factories located in Alverca, Lavradio and Setúbal, and thanks to important logistical support, it has a broad land, rail and sea distribution network to cover the demand and guarantee the satisfaction of all its customers, especially those located in the Iberian Peninsula.
ADP Fertilizantes has a large and experienced team of specialised technicians, which ensures advice to farmers and an efficient post-sale service in a very competitive market with a high level of technical specialisation.

Environment
Liquid and solid products derived from ammonia and urea for the removal of nitrogen oxides (NOx gases with harmful effects on human health) and the treatment of wastewater, thus enabling a large number of industries to comply with the regulatory standards established by European and national environmental legislation.

Our sales channel in Spain
In Spain, we market our products through the Fertiberia TECH sales channel, which encompasses a whole range of highly technological and innovative plant nutrition solutions with expert sales advice.
To complement these services, Fertiberia TECH has its own website where users can consult data sheets with characteristics and properties of the different product ranges, identify possible deficiencies by crop, nutrient and dichotomous key, access specific recommendations for each type of crop, etc.

A RESPONSIBLE WAY TO ACT
Responsible management - Special attention to our products at all stages
In order to minimise any negative effects of our products on health, safety and the environment, we take exceptional care during all stages of their life cycle, from their conception to their final application. To achieve this responsible management, we are committed to providing our employees with the necessary training and means to establish appropriate procedures, as well as disclosing to our customers the best practices in the use of our products.
In addition to compliance with all applicable legal requirements, we are responsible for:
- Responsibility at all stages. Develop our products in such a way as to minimise adverse effects throughout their life cycle.
- Conscientious suppliers. Select raw material suppliers and service providers that take into account the impact on the environment and the safety of the operations they perform.
- Constant improvement. Concern for continuous improvement in occupational health and safety, as well as in the reduction of emissions and waste.
- Safe logistics. Store, transport and distribute products in safe conditions, minimising adverse effects on the environment.
- Adequate supply. Apply products such as fertilisers and agricultural amendments in the correct and adequate quantity and form, according to the specific characteristics of the crop and the receiving media.
- Second life of products. Reuse unused products and packaging and, if not possible, dispose of them safely.

Quality Management - Supplying Quality Products and Services
ADP's path to excellence is through the development of high quality products and services that, while complying with all applicable legal requirements and being competitive on the market, meet the expectations of each customer.

- Optimal management. Guarantee the existence of adequate management mechanisms to ensure the functioning of a quality management system and its continuous improvement.
- Involvement of everyone. Ensure the involvement and active participation of all the company's collaborators in order to guarantee product competitiveness, availability and quality.
- Essential training. Ensuring that all the company's employees have the necessary skills to carry out their duties.
- Provision of technical resources. Confirm the provision of the technical resources necessary to fulfil the objectives by means of plans for the maintenance, renovation and updating of the facilities.
- Requirements for suppliers. Require suppliers to comply with standards in accordance with the company's quality models.

One of our core values is social and environmental responsibility. For this reason, we implement Responsible Action principles and develop our activities with a view to contributing to sustainable development, aiming at the efficient use of natural and energy resources.
In this way, we confirm our commitment to:
- Legal requirements. Comply with all applicable legal requirements.
- Environmental footprint. Identify and minimise environmental impacts and risks arising from its activities.
- Environmental objectives. Establish and control environmental objectives and targets, guaranteeing the resources necessary for their fulfilment.
- Adaptable techniques. Identify and apply the best available techniques that adapt, at all times, to the development, operation and decommissioning of its facilities.
- Knowledge. Train and motivate its collaborators in the application of good environmental practices and in the prevention of industrial and environmental accidents.

Health and Safety Management - Preventive and Protective Measures
We aim to adopt preventive and protective measures that can guarantee high levels of safety for people and facilities, minimising negative environmental impacts, always with a view to continuous improvement.
To this end, our management is committed to:
- Prevention measures. Develop and implement measures aimed at preventing accidents and limiting their consequences, defined and quantified in objectives and action plans framed within management systems.
- Regulatory compliance. Comply with the applicable legal requirements, as well as with the safety principles derived from the recommendations of Fertilizers Europe, n particular with regard to (Product Stewardship).
- Awareness-raising and training. Raise awareness, educate and train all our employees, as well as other people who interact with our activity on a daily basis (auxiliary companies, suppliers, visitors, etc.) so that they can safely and responsibly manage activities and condition behaviour.
- Review of procedures. Periodically review all the procedures derived from the application of the safety policy, whenever there are changes in the applicable legal requirements, in the activities, products, services, operating conditions and organisational measures of the group and each of the companies that make it up.
- Process improvement. Systematically and continuously seek to improve all processes, with the aim of increasing the company's commitment to safety management.
- Shared commitment. Take into account the contribution of all the people working in the company, in all phases of the definition and implementation of the safety management system.

We have four prestigious certifications that recognise our commitment to quality and continuous improvement of our processes, the conservation of the environment and safety for the development of our plant nutrition products.
We have implemented this Product Protection certificate BE20/819943949.10, issued by SGS, after achieving the requirements of Fertilizers Europe'sProduct Lifecycle Administration Programme for Fertilisation.
We have this quality certification granted by Lloyd's Register for our Management System focused on the whole marketing process of ammonia, urea and AdBlue®.
We have this occupational health and safety management certification approved by LRQA for compliance with the standards set out in ISO 45001:2018 throughout our entire ammonia, urea and AdBlue® marketing process.
In 2018 we obtained this certification for compliance with the requirements set out in this international standard, which guarantees that our environmental management system allows us to develop our activity for the marketing of ammonia, urea and AdBlue® products, guaranteeing the protection of the environment.
