Innovative fertilisers with specific molecular consortia
Today, there is a lack of attention and, in the sector, a lack of knowledge about the biological condition of the soil and its microbiological activity. This has often led to a limitation in the use of the natural resources already available.
The FiCOM project represents a great step forward in the development of biostimulant solutions that exhibit specific activity on an unexplored characteristic of the soil-plant system.
Objectives
The FiCOM project is launched with the objective to develop strategies capable of exploiting initially unavailable soil nutrients and, at the same time, to establish mechanisms that stimulate the biological activity of the soil to improve fertilisation efficiency.
- The project includes the development of organic molecular consortia which, in combination with the nutrients provided by fertilisation, improve fertiliser efficiency and plant health.
The FiCOM project is carried out with the collaboration of CDTI.
