Our company, which accounts for 30% of hydrogen production and consumption in Spain and manufactures 160,000 tonnes of ammonia per year, leads the production of green hydrogen and low carbon ammonia in the European Union after having started up in Puertollano the first and largest industrial-scale low carbon ammonia and low carbon fertiliser plant in Europe.

We also aim to become a worldwide point of reference in this area and to produce more than 2.5 million tonnes of clean ammonia per year in order to contribute to decarbonising agriculture, industry, energy and transport.

Thanks to this commitment, Fertiberia will have the most diversified, advanced, biotechnological and green portfolio in Europe.
