During its 25 years of history, Fertiberia has witnessed the expansion of our group as a leader in high value-added plant nutrition and environmental solutions for industry and pioneering the production of green ammonia.
WHO WE ARE
Fertiberia, parent company of a solid, consolidated group
Fertiberia was founded in 1995 and, over its 25 years of history, it has been the core around which our group has grown to become a permanent point of reference for agriculture and industry in the Iberian Peninsula and Europe.
Specialisation, internationalisation, diversification of our activity and our commitment to R&D&I have been the backbone of our growth, producing today the most complete range of the highest value-added, most sustainable and most technological nutritional solutions for agriculture in the sector.
WHERE TO FIND US
Main locations
The head company of our group, with its central office in Madrid, has an annual production capacity of 6 million tonnes of intermediate and final products. This is possible because we have five factories in Spain.

Our five factories in Spain, which directly employ 1,100 people, are located in:
- Huelva (capital city).
- Palos de la Frontera (Huelva).
- Puertollano (Ciudad Real), this being the first and largest green ammonia and fertiliser plant in Europe.
- Sagunto (Castellón).
- Avilés (Asturias).
We also have two commercial affiliates, Fertiberia La Mancha and Fertiberia Castilla-León, and have three logistics centres in Pancorbo (Burgos), Villalar de los Comuneros (Valladolid) and Cabañas de Ebro (Zaragoza).
In France, we have our company Fertiberia France, with its head office in Lieusaint and a production plant in Ille-et-Vilaine from where we mainly serve the French market.
In addition, from our commercial affiliate Fertiberia Hellas, created in 2022, we reach the agricultural sector of the Greek market and the Balkan countries.
Finally, we also rely on collaboration of a network of distributors and cooperatives that complete this logistical infrastructure and allow us to maintain production continuity and guarantee rapid supply and customer satisfaction.

Impact Zero
We developed the world’s first crop nutrition solution with a 0% carbon footprint in its production process, made with green hydrogen. Learn about our environmental response to the challenges of crops and the planet.
Environment
Liquid and solid products derived from ammonia and urea for the removal of nitrogen oxides (NOx gases with harmful effects on human health) and the treatment of wastewater, thus enabling a large number of industries to comply with the regulatory standards established by European and national environmental legislation.

Certification of SGS Services
We have implemented this Product Protection certificate BE20/819943949.10, issued by SGS, after achieving the requirements of Fertilizers Europe'sProduct Lifecycle Administration Programme for Fertilisation.
ISO 9001:2015 Certificate
We have this quality certification granted by Lloyd's Register for our Management System focused on the whole marketing process of ammonia, urea and AdBlue®.
ISO 45001:2018 Certificate
We have this occupational health and safety management certification approved by LRQA for compliance with the standards set out in ISO 45001:2018 throughout our entire ammonia, urea and AdBlue® marketing process.
ISO 14001:2015 Certificate
In 2018 we obtained this certification for compliance with the requirements set out in this international standard, which guarantees that our environmental management system allows us to develop our activity for the marketing of ammonia, urea and AdBlue® products, guaranteeing the protection of the environment.
