R&D&I: AGROTECH & BIOTECH
Agrotechnology and biotechnology to obtain cutting-edge, efficient solutions
We apply R&D&I to increase our competitiveness, modernising processes and achieving better products that adapt to market demand.
AGROTECH AND BIOTECH AT FERTIBERIA
Innovation, the backbone of our business strategy, at the service of agricultural efficiency
The ability to innovate only makes sense for Fertiberia if it is fully aligned with the needs of the market. In the areas of biotechnology (biotech) and agrotechnology (agrotech) applied to agriculture, the R&D (Research and Development) of our group has the following objectives:
- Always improve marketed products.
- Discover and thoroughly study new raw materials and new formulations.
- Unequivocally verify the agronomic benefits of new products.

We carry out numerous research projects, trials and agronomic studies, preferably in collaboration with universities and specialised and independent research centres in the Iberian Peninsula and the rest of Europe, sharing ideas and delving into disruptive concepts, with a focus on the sensitivity of technicians and the needs of the crop.
This allows us to continuously create new nutritional solutions adapted to the needs of the agricultural sector, contributing to food production in an environmentally friendly way.
Agrotechnology and biotechnology are one of the main areas where we carry out R&D&I, from our state-of-the-art laboratories at CTA Fertiberia and TRICHODEX.
