R&D&I: FERTIBERIA CTA
We create the solutions of the future from our prestigious agronomic and research laboratories housed in the Agri-environmental Technologies Centre – Fertiberia CTA.
Innovation is part of our DNA. For that reason, in addition to integrating it in all our business lines, we also promote public research, participating very actively in research projects in Spain and overseas, working in coordination with universities and public and private bodies.
One of our milestones in this field is the creation and start-up in 2016, in collaboration with the University of Seville, of the "Agri-environmental Technologies Centre – Grupo Fertiberia CTA" located in CITIUS (Research, Technology and Innovation Centre of the University of Seville). We centralise all our innovative activity there.
Fertiberia CTA is our established centre of operations for the Agronomic Innovation Department, which centralises the innovation, support and technical and agronomic advising activities of our entire Group, in a world-class technological and academic environment dedicated to the development of cutting-edge technologies in the field of plant nutrition.
The centre has modern laboratories, tools and state-of-the-art technologies for the development of research and innovation activities.
Highlights include the formulation laboratory, specifically designed for state-of-the-art plant nutrition products, and the process laboratory with modern pilot plants.
At the CTA, we design and develop the R&D&I projects and activities carried out in the company.
To do this, Fertiberia CTA has a multidisciplinary team of researchers with extensive training and experience in the fields of agronomy, the environment, chemistry and microbiology.
The improvement of the efficiency of nutritional products, the preservation of the environment, the circular economy, the improvement and conservation of the soil and agricultural quality and productivity are the common factors in the lines of research developed by Grupo Fertiberia.
CTA Fertiberia also has an Agronomic Laboratory where fertiliser, soil, foliar and water analyses are carried out and then used to provide personalised and free fertilisation recommendations for our customers.
Every year, we carry out up to 10,000 analyses and fertilisation recommendations.
