LD78 ammonium nitrate

Ammonium nitrate is the main component in the formulation of most industrial explosives, and therefore of ANFO (ammonium nitrate / fuel oil), the most widely used and cheapest civil explosive on the market. This product is synthesised from ammonia and nitric acid in our Puertollano plant. Its microporous and microcrystalline structure is obtained through the most advanced technology that achieves its specification of density, absorption and resistance, properties to guarantee the maximum performance of explosive mixtures.

Its frequent application include the manufacture of ANFO for explosives.

Mode of application

LD78 ammonium nitrate is applied directly in the fuel oil adsorption process until saturation is reached.
