This new technology, present in the NERGETIC COMPLETE line, stands out for regulating the release of the nutrients present in fertilisers and at the same time having a biostimulant function.
- Fertiberia TECH has launched a new technology, called C-PRO, now with a dual function: on the one hand, to regulate the release of all the nutrients present in fertilisers and, on the other, to act as a biostimulant for crops.
This innovation, which is part of its NERGETIC COMPLETE product line, reaffirms the company’s commitment to developing sustainable and efficient plant nutrition solutions for the agricultural sector.
Madrid, 16 October 2024. C-PRO technology is a biodegradable polymer and has been tested for toxicity in plants and animals, demonstrating that it has no adverse effect on crop yields or animal life. Its regulatory function forms a physical barrier on each granule, allowing the gradual and controlled release of all nutrients by forming a gel that prevents leaching from the rhizosphere, keeping all nutrients available for uptake as plants need them.
Its function as a biostimulant also stands out, characterised by its capacity to improve nutrient use efficiency (NUE), closely linked to the calculation of agronomic indices such as agronomic efficiency (AE) or nutrient extraction (NE), among others. Higher nutrient use efficiency results in increased yield and nutrient content taken up by the plant.
The new C-PRO technology also improves nutrient availability in all soil types and pH ranges as well as nutrient use efficiency, especially the main nutrients (nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium) in both top dressing and bottom dressing in a wide variety of crops.

The new C-PRO has been approved and certified in accordance with the European Union regulation on fertiliser products, Regulation (EU) 2019/1009 of 5 June 2019, which ensures that this new technology is a polymer that regulates the release of all nutrients with the function of a non-microbial plant biostimulant.
