The Fertiberia Chair of Agri-environmental Studies continues to strengthen the link established between Grupo Fertiberia and the Polytechnic University of Madrid since its creation in 2007
- The development and continuity of the activities of the Chair is so satisfactory for the Grupo Fertiberia and the Polytechnic University of Madrid that this year, 2022, both entities will renew their commitment by signing a new, even more ambitious agreement, as required by the new regulations governing university-company collaborations.
The Fertiberia Chair of Agri-environmental Studies, created in 2007, is about to celebrate its 15th anniversary at the ETSIAAB (Technical School of Agricultural, Food and Biosystems Engineering) and is currently being renewed in accordance with the new UPM Chair regulations. During this time, from Fertiberia and from the School, we have tried to support all those activities aimed at promoting teaching, research and dissemination work related to the field of fertilisation, agronomy and the environment, activities that have been quite affected, in the last two years, by the impositions derived from the health crisis caused by COVID19.
The ETSIAAB resumed its fully face-to-face activities in September, coinciding with the start of the 2021/22 academic year, and so has the Chair to some extent, although the objectives initially planned have not been fully achieved. This report describes the activities carried out by the Chair during the year 2021.
