The solution of 32% ammonium nitrate and urea is a fertiliser that contains nitrogen in the three possible chemical forms: 50% ureic, 25% nitric and 25% ammoniacal, meaning that it is a very versatile fertiliser with an extremely broad spectrum of possible uses, but also in various chemical processes such as the manufacture of resins for wood agglomerates.

It is a product widely used in winter and spring cereal top dressing because, by providing the three forms of nitrogen, the availability of nitrogen is greater over time, supplying all the nitrogen the plants need. It is also commonly used in fertigation of crops or in the manufacture of NPK liquid solutions as raw material.
