Tailor-made biotechnology to regenerate soil health and boost productivity
This event has become the benchmark forum for professionals committed to the sustainable transformation of the agri-food sector.
Córdoba, October 29, 2025. TRICHODEX®, a company of the Grupo Fertiberia, reaffirms its leadership in biotechnological innovation and agricultural sustainability through its participation as a Platinum Sponsor at the Microbioma 2025 International Congress, held on October 28 and 29 in Córdoba under the theme “The Battle for the Soil Begins Here.”
During the congress, TRICHODEX®’s General Director, Khalid Akdi, delivered the presentation “Microbiome Detox: Microbial bioremediation to optimize plant response to stress.” In his talk, he highlighted the use of the microbiome to bioremediate stress caused by chemicals, particularly heavy metals.
“Microbioma is a key congress for sharing knowledge and advances in biotechnology applied to soil and crops. With this year’s presentation, we once again emphasize the interconnection between soil, plants, and microorganisms, and demonstrate the power of the microbiome as a biotechnological tool to protect soil health and enhance crop performance and resilience under environmental stress,” Akdi underlined.
In addition, TRICHODEX® unveiled its registered BIOAdapta® methodology, which combines science, technology, and applied knowledge to deliver customized microbial solutions that address the most complex challenges in the field.
According to Sanaa Kamah, R&D and Quality Director at TRICHODEX®: “For over 30 years, our company has been driving a new way of practicing agriculture. We don’t offer generic products — we design personalized microbial solutions. We are the biotechnological partner of companies and farmers, specializing in the co-creation of microbial consortia adapted to each soil, crop, and challenge. Through them, we increase productivity, control pests and diseases, improve farmers’ profitability, and regenerate soil health — restoring its life, structure, and resilience.”
TRICHODEX®’s presence at Microbioma 2025 reinforces its position as a benchmark in biotechnology applied to agriculture.
