Objectives
The main objective of this project is to reduce natural gas consumption and CO₂ emissions at the Fertiberia plant (Puertollano) by replacing and digitally monitoring steam traps and safety valves to detect leaks in real time and eliminate them as quickly as possible.
The project consists of replacing and monitoring the steam traps in the condensate network and safety valves at the FERTIBERIA plant in Puertollano, installing ECObolt monitoring sensors that allow the detection of leaks and the presence of condensates, and installing the STRATA data analysis solution that analyses the data captured by the aforementioned sensors at the plant. This action will detect leaks as soon as they occur, thereby avoiding the energy consumption of the steam that is leaking from the moment the fault occurs until it is detected.
