Improved energy efficiency with the ammonia removal system in Palos de la Frontera

This removal system will allow us to reuse ammonia and thus advance our sustainable objectives.

Objectives

The aim is to recover the ammonia contained in the gas purges, which would otherwise have to be produced from natural gas.

A scrubbing facility will be implemented and will use a process condensate stream to scrub and capture the ammonia present in the purge streams for subsequent reuse, mainly in the urea plant.
