TRICHODEX® the biotechnology subsidiary of Grupo Fertiberia, is the main corporate Gold Sponsor of Eurosoil 2025
The largest European forum on soil sustainability, bringing together more than 2,500 international experts at FIBES (Seville).
Seville, September 8, 2025. The biotechnology company TRICHODEX®–a subsidiary of Grupo Fertiberia– is supporting Eurosoil 2025 as a Gold Sponsor. The event, organized by the European Confederation of Soil Science Societies (ECSSS) and the Spanish Society of Soil Science, is also endorsed by leading institutions such as the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the European Commission, and the University of Seville.
The congress, held from September 8 to 12 at FIBES, brings together more than 2,500 researchers, agricultural professionals, and policymakers from around the world, establishing Seville as an international hub for agricultural innovation. “This event is fully aligned with the EU mission A Soil Deal for Europe, which aims to ensure that 75% of soils in Europe are healthy or show significant improvement by 2030. The initiative also promotes the development of a network of 100 Living Labs and Lighthouses designed to co-create innovative solutions in real-life settings. Seville thus becomes the meeting point between science, public policy, and agricultural practices to tackle one of the greatest environmental challenges of our time,” says Khalid Akdi Elaroussi, General Manager of TRICHODEX®
TRICHODEX® will play a leading role in the working sessions. Sanaa Kamah, Director of R&D&I, will present advances on the soil microbiome and its key role in crop resilience. Meanwhile, Khalid Akdi will co-chair session GT07: Soil Amendments & Fertilizers: Biopolymer, a high-level forum for discussing bioproducts and new biotechnological solutions for soil regeneration.
The company will also host its own stand, where it will present its BIOAdapta® strategy, a 360º tool designed to help agriculture adapt to the consequences of climate change, with a special focus on managing biotic and abiotic stress, such as drought and salinity.
